Valentines Flip and Add Bump Game Freebie

I created this addition bump game to put in my Math Workstations for Valentines day. I love games that look pretty. I feel like they catch the student's eye, and they get excited to play. If you would like to download it, click the link below. Please take a second to leave feedback on the product.

Hopefully it's warming up wherever you live! It's still in the 20's here. Blah! I am so ready for warmth. :)

Spin & Compare

We are working on place value right now. We start off learning how to compare numbers by using this poem:

Mr. Gator likes to munch
on juicy numbers for his lunch.
Small numbers make his belly sore,
big numbers make him shout for more!
When Mr. Gator takes a bite,
large numbers feed his appetite.

I found this poem here:Poem

I made an interactive freebie to go along with comparing numbers. Click the link below to download!

Enjoy!!

Predicting and Inferring

I made a little freebie to give your students while you are working on making predictions and inferring. My students use this packet during their independent reading time. They will choose a book from their book bin and write a prediction they made and something they inferred while reading that book. We then get together and share their inferences and predictions at the end of Reader's Workshop.
If you would like this freebie, click the link below!

Have a great day!
